Auroville is carved out of Tamilnadu and Puducherry. Auroville has a special relationship with the nearby villages, as many of the Aurovilians belong to the local area and many others have work related connections. The Auroville Festival is an initiative to strengthen the friendship by providing opportunities to enable and engage individuals in innovative and inspiring methods.
